An healthy nutritional snack full of potassium, Vitamin-C, Vitamin-B6, Iron, Mineral and Fiber
Ingredients
1/2 cup – Oats (saute and boil with 1 cup water)
1/3 cup – Hung yoghurt (mix with salt as per taste)
2 tsp – Olive oil
3 pcs – Potato (boiled and mashed)
1/2 pc – Carrot (grated)
50 gms – Paneer (crumbled)
1 pc – Green chili (chopped)
1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds (roasted and powdered)
A pinch – Garam masala
1 tsp – Amchur powder [Dried raw mango powder]
To taste – Salt
2 Tbsp – Coriander leaves
2 Tbsp – Green gram {Mung} (sprouted)
2 Tbsp – Brown chick peas {Lal Chana} (sprouted)
To taste - Red chili powder
The Sprinkler
A mix of roasted cumin powder, salt, red chili powder and chaat masala.
For Garnishing
Lemon juice
Sev
Coriander leaves
Method
Mix the potatoes, carrots, paneer, green chili, cumin powder, garam masala, amchur powder, salt, coriander, sprouted green gram and brown chick peas, then add red chili powder.
Heat oil and saute the potatoes mix for 3 to 4 minutes.
Spread the yoghurt and a dash of the sprinkler on it.
Then layer the oats on it.
Finally top it with the tamarind chutney, the coriander chutney and the chilli sauce.
Garnish with lime juice, sev and coriander leaves.
Tamarind Chutney
Ingredients
50 gms - Tamarind [Imli]
150 gms - Dates [Khajur]
1 tsp - Cumin seeds [Jeera] (roasted)
To taste - Black salt
To taste - Red chilli powder
Method
Boil the tamarind and dates in water.
(If they have seeds, remove them at this stage, with the help of a sieve).
Blend them in the blender.
Then cool and pass it through a sieve.
Boil it and add the cumin seeds, black salt and the red chilli powder.
Chilli Sauce
Ingredients
4 pcs - Dried Kashmiri chilies
3 pcs - Garlic
To taste -Salt
Method
Deseed and soak the chilies for half an hour.
Blend it with the garlic.
Add salt and use whenever required.
Can be stored for a week.
