A glass of light fried starter.
An Indian delicacy snack brought to the starter table.
(12 Servings)
Ingredients
6 pcs - Dahiwadas (broken into fours)
4-5 pcs - Potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
1 Tbsp - Lemon juice
1-2 tsp - Green chillies (finely chopped)
Corinader leaves (finely chopped)
Tamarind (Imli) chutney
Coriander Chutney
1 1/2 cup - Thick curd (sieved)
Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
The Masala mix
Mix rock salt, roasted cumin seeds powder {Jeera} and red chili powder.
Method
Mix the potatoes with lemon juice, green chillies, corinder leaves and salt.
Divide the potato mix into 24 parts.
Add the prepared masala mix (as per taste) to the curds.
Assembling
Put a piece of the dahiwada in a glass.
Spread a spoon of curd on it.
Then layer a part of the potato on it.
Spread both the chutneys over it.
Repeat these layers once more.
Garnish with the masala mix and coriander.
Serve it as a starter.
